Keep Your HANDS and NAILS CLEAN!!!!

ARGH!!!

I CANNOT STRESS HOW DISGUSTING THAT IS WHEN SOMEONE DOES NOT CLEAN THERE HANDS!!!

Dirty Hands will get you no where...
Staying clean and continuing to wash your hands is very important; especially after you have used the restroom, done some dirty activities, cooking, eating, that sort.

But do you know HOW MUCH dirty hands can affect you?? My point of view is that having CLEAN HANDS will make you a clean person while some would argue and go into dept about how its healthy for your life and body blah blah blah.

As a skin-professional, I know it's important to CLEAN YOUR HANDS AND NAILS!!! They can carry bacteria, viral germs, dirty, etc. And we tend not to think how much we touch our faces with our hands BUT WE DO!!!

Popping your zits with unclean nails will of course make it WORSE!!

What's bad about having dirty hands is that all of us have NAILS!! Your nails are like shovels; shoveling all the dirty from your daily routine and activities. Just think when you touch your face with your hands, you are extracting more dirt and unwanted bacteria to your FACE!!

I just had to point this out because we really do not think of this and look at through this point of view. The more you clean your hands and nails, and less touching your face, the better you are rewarding your face and your skin.

She's probably like "Where the HELL have your hands been??" lol
Here are some SIMPLE TIPS that I know will help. I will soon make a video about this because THIS IS JUST TOO IMPORTANT!!

For all you guys; I feel ya on the nails. But do yourself and your skin a favor. Cut your nails every chance you get. Here are somethings I recommend you get:

(1) Nail Clipper w/ nail cleaner extension
(1) Alcohol
(1) Cotton Ball

Use the nail clipper's nail cleaner extension to pick up the dirt. Use it until you have a sense that it's clean and gone. For an effective way to keep your nails clean, get a bottle of 100% alcohol, dab some in a cotton ball and just gently dab it on the tip of your nails. This affect will keep your nails clean and flesh.

For women, I would do the same thing. And knowing you all have longer nails, I would suggest yall to use twice as much alcohol and cotton balls to clean your nails with.

I hope my blog reached out to some of you all!! This is too important!! Have a clean face is the key!!

Food that can help your face

Carrots
he alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs)in apples, oranges—even milk—not only nourish us inside, they are crucial to keeping our outer layer looking refreshed and young.

Let’s face it—when it comes to maintaining a youthful complexion, time is not on your side. From the moment of birth, your skin works round the clock to eliminate toxins and replace dead skin cells with new ones. But somewhere down the pike, this system of recycling begins to break down. In fact, by the time you’ve reached 30- or 40-something, tiny laugh lines (never call them crow’s feet, please) may begin to creep around the edges of your eyes and mouth. Your once rosy cheeks may be reduced to a pallid patina. And, if you’ve been a sun worshiper at any stage in your life, age spots and leather-like skin are likely to be your reward.
Of course, one doesn’t awaken to “mature” skin overnight or with the lighting of candles on any particular birthday cake. Aging of the skin is a long process that occurs over time and largely depends on lifestyle and environmental factors. But it’s possible to slow down the progression of skin aging, or even help reverse skin damage, by taking advantage of Mother Nature’s best anti-aging cosmetic ingredient—fruit acids. In fact, fruit acids can help restore your visage and reveal a youthful (but ripe) new you more safely and better than many chemical procedures.

They are found in such edibles as pineapple (sorbic acid), grapes (tartaric acid), apples (maltic acid) and even milk (lactic acid). But the applications of these AHAs come from a bottle or tube, not from your refrigerator. When applied to skin, AHAs penetrate the upper layer to “unglue” dead cells that have become stuck together over time. The skin then sloughs off this layer to reveal new, healthy cells that have been, in effect, held hostage underneath. With regular use of AHA products, you can teach your old skin a new trick by helping it to re-establish the natural exfoliation and cell renewal process it once knew so well.

Papaya and pineapple are two of the most popular fruits used in natural peels, since they are both a rich source of AHAs. Each fruit contains a protein-dissolving enzyme, papain and bromelain respectively, that promotes cell renewal and stimulates collagen production. Not all AHAs are derived from fruit, though. Glycolic acid, obtained from sugar cane, is the best-known member of the alpha-hydroxy acid family and has been found to be useful in treating age spots, superficial scars, acne, fine lines and (sometimes) even deeper wrinkles.

Both sunlight and normal bodily processes foster the formation of free radicals, rogue molecules that harass skin cells. So it makes sense that the addition of certain antioxidants (free-radical fighters) to AHA products is helpful in winning the battle against the signs of aging. When a vitamin C-based topical cream is applied in the form of L-ascorbic acid, the skin is protected from the sun’s UVA rays, which target the deeper layers of skin and destroy the collagen matrix. When combined with vitamin E, L-ascorbic acid also shields against the burning rays (or UVB rays), which actually break down DNA and RNA causing free-radical damage and cell mutation. This form of vitamin C has also demonstrated the ability to stimulate collagen creation by regulating three pro-collagen genes and, when used in a natural face peel, can have a synergistic effect on reversing the evidence of sun damage.

How to keep your face clean and acne free

As you may not know, I have dry skin. So what I am going to be blogging about is just for dry skin users only with maybe a few comments on differences on oily skin and some products I have used in the past.

How to keep your face clean and acne free.

There is no such thing as never having acne unless you have laser surgery or something expensive to get your acne off. What we all need to realize is that cleaning our face and treating our acne is a habitual thing and we must maintain the cycle if we like it or not.

So for my dry skin users, here are the steps.

First you are going to have to get these products:

(1) 100% Cotton Facial Pads
(1) Facial Cleanser
(1) Acne Treatment
(1) Moisturizing Lotion

Step 1

Rinse your face with warm water, NOT HOT!! Us dry skin people are very sensitive and can act up. Hot water will dry our skin, causing redness. However, it will open up your pores but we want to avoid drying your skin off. We have to treat our faces with care and respect. Warm water is enough to open up the pores in our faces to we can start our next step.

Step 2

After you have rinsed your face, you will use a facial cleanser to clean your face. Your face will be ready to clean because your pores are already open and we went to get a deep clean in your face so we can remove all the dirt, make-up if you are wearing it, and other excessive oils, etc. It will also remove dead skin cells so new skin cells can mature on your face.

  • STEP 1: Begin by washing your hands. (You don't want all of the grease, grime and germs from your hands on your face, do you?) And, if you have on any eye makeup, remove it before you begin to cleanse.
  • STEP 2: Wet your face completely with tepid water. Anything too hot will shock the skin and could even burst capillaries, resulting in those sensitive red marks usually found around the nose and cheeks. Next, squeeze a dime-sized amount of cleanser onto your fingertips and rub them together. Use your fingertips to massage the cleanser into your skin (anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute) in small and gentle circular motions.
  • STEP 3: One of the best ways to ensure that dirt and makeup are removed is by using a muslin cloth when you rinse. In addition, if you gently scrub in small circles, the cloth also acts as a light exfoliant! Also, don't forget to rinse your hairline, your neck and the nooks on either side of your nose.
  • STEP 4: Finish by splashing your face two to three times with cool water (not freezing cold—again, you don't want to shock your face) to close your pores and then pat your skin dry with a clean towel.

Watching and Knowing What's a Scam

Don't get scammed. It happens...

So this is what you will you look like and feel after you get scammed. Stupid, angry, sad, embarrassed, maybe poor, and just straight pissed off. But!! There are some preventative ways! Let's get smart people!

LETS START
Trust Fall
Problem with today's world is trust. Trust is a big factor and should always be considered. Modeling is like a trust fall (picture above). You do not know the people so you have a fear of risk getting hurt from the fall. So you might wanna gain some trust to give you THAT PEACE OF MIND!!

There are so many things out there that we cannot trust and sometimes we take for granted some things. There is a high rate of 88% scams (http://www.toponlinescams.com/) within the year, whether buying pills to help you grow taller (there is not such thing lol) or buying a new stolen car. In this case, we are just focusing on modeling scams and is in fact in my opinion one of the easiest ways to be scammed.

So here is an Example of scam
Okay so I'm thinking at first "Brigget Road" or who ever she/he/it is real and this might be legit. Come to find out, it was a rouse. I clicked on her profile and it said it was deleted. So I am like "okay...?" I emailed back from the email address provided and yes I am FOR SURE it was a scam.

The person (Brigget) supposedly requested personal information that you should never give out such as:
  •  Name
  •  Contact Number
  •  Address
  •  State
  •  Bank Information
  •  etc.
NEVER GIVE THAT TYPE OF INFORMATION OUT!!!

  1. Check Your Source See if the offer is real. Do more research on the industry, agency, etc. See if your friends know about it or someone. Best way is to definitely GOOGLE it. Check the website, address, and possibly talk to someone that knows the knowledge about what ever you are getting yourself in.
  2. Do Not Give Out Personal Information It would be imperative not to give personal information out. Especially when you are uncertain and what ever you are doing can cause a risk.
  3. Do Not Make ANY AGREEMENTS Even though we might be the victims of a harmless crime, by law we can only do so much to be safe. Contracts can be a very bad thing. Always consult with someone about it before you take any action and see if what you are getting yourself into is legit.
  4. Be SAFE It's a cold world out there and people will do anything to scam you. Most scams are harmless until someone gets hurt. Be on your safe side and do not take any risks.
So here is another example of a scam
Okay so about the top picture above on the email, I was contacted about doing some model/photography work. So I am like, this is different. BUT LOOK!! They gave me a number!! What do I do? I call it, and you know what? When I called it, it was a out of the country number. WTF!?!?

So the website looked legit because I am very well aware of Chadwick Models Inc. But there agency is located in Australia. So why the freak are they contacting me in the U.S to do some model work. That's BULL!!

So here's another one!!

So these should make sense right now. By now you should know what a scam is!!

How to become a model!!

How to become a model!

Pier Nguyen

It's finally here guys! How to become model, knowing when and what's a scam, how to act professional and know your stuff.

LOL not literally that tall, but tall enough

Here's the break down guys. Keep reading on if you have these qualifications; Men must be at least 5"11 - 6"5 and Women must be 5"9 - 6"0. So far so good?

Well of course you have to have a good looking body to go with your height.

Know your shit in the fashion industry! Know what fashion week is, the top models in the World, top photographers, and especially know all your fashion and clothing designers. Networking and being polite is one of the things ever model needs to know!

Have a portfolio! You are looking at pictures that are a good 8 by 11 pictures and they go in a portfolio. This is important because you need to impress your employers, modeling agencies an... to get booked for the fashion job! Pictures must be fierce, and when I say fierce I mean no SENIOR LOOKING PICTURES!

Runway Walk

Have a fierce walk. Here's something for the guys. Guys need to take longer strides then regular walking. Back must be straight, chest must be little bit out not awkward, pretend you are talking with stacks of books on your head. Hands must be swaving not hard but turn in a way that the photographers can take your picture and that it won't look like your hands won't be chopped off.

LADIES: Cross walk, more struding, must walk on the bold of your heels, and signiture poses are podent in this industry.

Get signed with an agency! Without getting signed, you definitely can't find or getbooked for jobs causes your clients need reference and they just don't pay you straight up. Think of it like this. When you get signed, your modeling agency acts a direct deposit bank and what ever jobs you get booked your modeling agency will pay you. Though the agencies to tend to take a percentage from what you make.

GO-SEES!!! Gotta wear clothes that are not too stuffy, not too awkward and not too flashy. Ladies should just wear tight jeans, tank-top and heels, and Guys should just wear jeans and white t-shirt. Remember that is the reason to show your body figure and it's simple clothing wear.

Beware of scams! If you do not get enough information from agents, agencies, ect. through the internet, advertisement, flyers, people, ect. then DON'T DO IT!!! You shouldn't expect to pay a lot to get somewhere nor pay so and so to do something.

ALL MODELS must be professional in what they do. Know this shit!!: Editorials, Commericials, Prints and High Fashion! Always be nice! Know some Model Etiquete!

The Fashion World tends to be very cut throat so bear the pain of criticism, staying long hours for things, travel a lot, working out to maintain a good looking body, and last but not least KNOW everyone and everythings name and lots of networking.

Models are free, role models, lots of self-esteem, persistent, fun, easy to work with, andFIERCE!!!

Good luck all models in pursuit!

Modeling

How to Model

I want people to know that I have been through a lot through the modeling industry. It was very hard. One of the biggest things I had to deal with was my height. I was only 5"8 and the most accepted height is 5"11. So 3 inches does seem to matter but that never stopped me.
